Less than a mile from where the River Alt meets the River Mersey as they flow into Liverpool Bay, lies Alt Cottage, the home of Brennan’s Cider. Here, they produce their exclusive, small batch, whole juice, handcrafter cider.

 

Alt Cottage

Alt cottage is made from the full juice of a blend of locally sourced culinary and dessert apples and Browns cider apples which is fermented to dryness, producing a rich, smooth cider with a light natural carbonation and a gentle citrus fruit finish. 750ml. 7.2%.

Bramley SV

​

Bramley SV is made from the full juice of Bramley cooking apples, donated from garden trees across the local area. The juice is fermented to dryness, to produce a smooth, acid led, refreshing cider that showcases the fresh citrus fruit flavours that are characteristic of the Bramley apple. 750ml. 5.8%.

Dabinett SV

Dabinett SV is made from the full juice of Dabinett cider apples, sourced from an established private orchard in Cheshire, where the trees are planted in a clay soil overlaying a sandstone bedrock. The juice is fermented to dryness, to produce a smooth, rich cider that showcases the hints of orange, spice and cloves that are characteristic of the bittersweet Dabinett apple. 750ml. 6.5%.

Fos is made from the full juice of a blend of locally sourced culinary and dessert apples and Dabinett cider apples which is fermented to dryness, producing a cider where the acidity of the locally sourced fruit is complemented by the bitter sweet tannins of the Dabinett, resulting in a rich, smooth, still cider that is ideal for sharing with friends or while enjoying your favourite food. 750ml. 6.3%.

Fos

The Grange

The Grange is made from the full juice of locally sourced Dabinett cider apples and Bramley apples. The juice is fermented to dryness and blended to produce a smooth, rich cider that showcases the tannins and hints of orange, spice and cloves that are characteristic of the bittersweet Dabinett apple, complemented by the fresh lemon citrust flavours of the acid led Bramley apple. 750ml. 6.2%.

Merseycider

Merseycider is made from the full juice of a blend of locally sourced culinary and dessert apples and wild crab apples which is fermented to dryness, producing a light and refreshing acid led cider with a slight natural carbonation and gentle citrus finish. 500ml. 6%.
